Celtic Quilt Designs book authored by Philomena Durcan

Philomena introduced Celtic Design into the quilt world in 1980 with the publication of this her first book Celtic Quilt Designs. The book is a collection of 20 different designs adapted from the Book of Kells, and eight-century gospel manuscript. The Interlace form of the designs make them ideal for the Bias Bar technique of Applique, a trademark of Philomena’s quilting.
